For Sale En Utero

FPS Registered - 2010 Friesian Foal  - Lobke J. X Sipke 450

Lobke has been bred to Sipke 450 for a 2010 foal.  This foal will be available in utero.  We will also consider selling Lobke in foal as a two-in-one package for $18,000.

Have you always wanted a purebred Friesian, but thought that a well-bred, dressage- quality Friesian was out of reach?  Consider purchasing your Friesian en utero.  Once the mare is confirmed 45 days in foal, we ask a $5500 deposit to cover the semen, breeding & initial vet fees (subject to increase should add'l inseminations be required); then pay $450/mo toward mare care until the foal is weaned at 6 months of age. Costs of post-partum exam, follow up vet care, and FPS-foal inspection are the responsibility of Purchaser.

 Sipke 450 scored 81 points on his riding test! He has an excellent walk (8.0) and is a very talented dressage horse. Willy Arts (trainer for the stallion testing) feels Sipke has a lot of natural talent for dressage, his canter is particularly well developed. 

 

The Dam:     Lobke J. 

Due to injuries incurred in a trailer-accident, Lobke is not quite "ring sound", but may be suitable for pleasure riding for an intermediate rider. Her job for the past few years has been that of a "mom".  Lobke has outstanding bloodlines and puts quality in her foals--they are all gorgeous with great movement for dressage.  Her 7 yr old & 3 yr old sons can be viewed at our facility.

 Studbook Mare, awarded 3rd premie in 1998.   DOB:  3/9/95    Height:  16.1 hh.      Inbreeding Co-Efficient:    4.10% .   Lobke was presented for Ster, but the designation was not awarded due to lack of muscle definition in her back --residual results of a  trailer accident. This does not preclude her though, from producing top quality offspring for the dressage ring.

Lobke J.  is by Gerlof 294 out of a Ster mare by Tjimme 275.  Gerlof earned 1st premie Stallion for 8 consecutive years!  Gerlof also sired FPS approved stallions Teunis 332 and Bonne 341 and is the Grandsire of approved stallions Fridse 423 and the famous Nanning 374. 

Lobke J. is out of Mare Stam line 111.  She has Ster and Model mares in her motherline.      She nicks back to the rare Age within 4 generations through her sire, Gerlof 294--his dam's sire, Ulrig was by Age.  She stands 16.1 hh.

Available On-Farm Leases

Hershey ~ Hershey is a 20 yr old, 16 hh, solid 2nd level Trakhener Gelding.  He's a total gentleman, sweet and loveable, loves lots of attention.  Wants a rider who's not in a hurry as he takes a nice 10-15 minute warm-up, and then has a lot to teach a soft & relaxed student of dressage.

Hershey is available for a half-lease at $425/mo.  Our half-lease includes 2 lease-rides and one 30 minute lesson per week.

Hessel - 16.2 hh, 14 yr old Friesian Geld., confirmed 2nd Level, schooling 3rd.  Advanced beginner on up.  Lease Filled.  .

Noah, 7 yr old Percheron Cross Geld., Training/First Level.  Advance Beginner on up.  Quarter-Lease Avail.

Logan - 9 yr old Tb geld - Training/First Level.  Confident, Intermed. rider.  Light, lovely gaits, soft to the leg, will take a firm rein contact.  Logan is a wonderful boy, but is a TB, and has an occasional 'bounce' in him!   LEASE FILLED, THANK YOU.

Lease Packages

Quarter Lease: One lease-ride & one 30 minute lesson a week.  $325/mo.  (Total of 4 lease rides & 4 lessons)

Half-Lease:  Two Lease-rides & one 30 minute lesson a week.  $425/mo. (Total of 8 lease rides & 4 lessons).

All lesson times & lease rides to be scheduled monthly, in advance.
